Dr. Lori Danielson joined the NWBC staff as Minister of Worship in 2004 where she plans the worship services and coordinates all of the elements including music, drama, visual art, and scripture reading. Lori is passionate about involving people in worship ministry using the gifts and talents that God has given them. This is evidenced by her inclusion of a variety of people who assist in music, read Scripture, perform drama, and decorate the church.
She has studied music and specifically, church music for a long time. She has a diploma in church music from the Grand Rapids School of the Bible and Music (now Cornerstone University), BM degree in clarinet performance from Wheaton College, MM in clarinet performance from Northwestern University, and a Ph.D. in Church Music from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
When not involved in music and church ministry, She enjoys reading fiction and non-fiction, decorating the home she shares with her husband, Mark, designing floral arrangements, cheering for the Green Bay Packers, spending time with their Golden Retriever, MacGregor, and just hanging out with family and friends. .
